  • Nursery/Kindergarten Program
    • A program for 4-5 years
    • Maintains 8:1 ratio
    • Child centered focus including dramatic and creative play, reading readiness, manipulative materials, water, sand, music, science/nature activities, fine motor skills, large and small muscle activities and outdoor play
  • School-Age Program
    • A before and after school program for 6-12 years
    • Maintains a 15:1 ratio
    • Children have the freedom to choose from a wide range of individual, small and large group activities such as: crafts, games, manipulative materials, books, computers, science/nature, gym and outdoor play

History

Brock Corydon Daycare (BCD) started as a roll-away daycare in the school gym in 1988. The Daycare was licensed for thirty (30) school-age children by the Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care Program and became incorporated in 1991. Since the beginning the Before and After School Program has seen continuous growth with the development of a nursery/kindergarten program in 2002 and expansions of both programs in 2013, 2014 and 2018.
