Board of Directors

  • Brock Corydon Daycare Inc. (BCD) is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer parent Board of Directors. The Board of Directors are a group of 5 to 9 individuals elected annually by the members; parents and/or guardians of children presently enrolled in BCD Daycare.
    The Board’s primary role is to set goals, make policies and oversee the financial management of the corporation.

History

Brock Corydon Daycare (BCD) started as a roll-away daycare in the school gym in 1988. The Daycare was licensed for thirty (30) school-age children by the Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care Program and became incorporated in 1991. Since the beginning the Before and After School Program has seen continuous growth with the development of a nursery/kindergarten program in 2002 and expansions of both programs in 2013, 2014 and 2018.
